A play set on the back porch of a mathematician's house in Chicago wouldn't be too complicated were it not for the limitations of the theater space. As the stage was a narrow, deep space with a low grid, the final concept was to put everything on an angle and cut away the walls for better sightlines, maximizing the playing space and possibilities for staging.
