Three Shows at Once
That was a really rough 5-ish weeks. 3 different plays opened within a one-month span of eachother. ANNA: LOVE IN THE COLD WAR ran April 21 - May 8. PROJECT: LOHAN ran April 29 - May 15. And YOU NEVER CAN TELL opened May 12 and will run until (at least) June 19. Too much but glad to have had the challenge. Production photos of all three are now posted to the site.

TWO NEW PROJECTS Dec. 4, 2009
Two new series are in process:

"Economy/Travel Series" is a set of portraits of the faunal type. The first, titled "Judith" is up now. More to come as they happen. I'm not sure, but I think there's potential there for a greeting card set or something of that order.
Update: series completed Feb. 17, 2010

Untitled Figurative Series. The details are sketchy (that's not a pun) but the game plan is to do a set of large format figurative drawings exploring torsion, stretching, and in general a more open/organic fluid line and form than that of previous series like "Effigies". I may start by posting comp. sketches and tracking the whole process. Gotta find models first though.

Why am I always working in series?
A BLOG. June 3, 2009
alright, i'm going to try maintaining a blog. in a sense. we'll see how it goes. and yes, it's art/theater-related. and probably a little hyper-critical here and there. but I'm reading Gore Vidal right now, and because eloquent turns of phrase with sharply barbed tips have always been personal favorites, he's just fueling the fire.
